Welcome
The LSESU Investment Society was founded in 2003 by a group of students keen to share their knowledge of investing, and to help develop the careers of their fellow students. The key focus of our society remains to build the knowledge and skills of our members, enabling them to realise their potentials and career ambitions in the areas of investment and finance.
Since then, we have grown to become one of the largest and most active societies on campus. The society has been recognised by the Student's Union annual awards where we have been voted the best overall society. Our membership base for the last academic year was in excess of 2000 students and we expect this figure to increase significantly in the coming years.
We organise over 30 events a year for our members, such as stimulating lectures by industry practitioners, trading games, M&A and valuation case studies and networking events. With contacts within all the major banks and accountancy firms, we hold the most diverse events compared to similar LSESU societies. As a result, attendance at our events is high and allows you to get the most from the event itself.
